1. IPL Photofacial

The first treatment we think is great for the new year is an IPL Photofacial. IPL also known as Intense pulsed light, is a treatment that uses light to correct the skin. IPL is used to address certain skin concerns such as, Post Inflammatory Erythema, Hyperpigmentation and redness that can be caused by sun damage, rosacea, and other issues.

The Intense Light energy is used during IPL to help reverse signs of aging and damage from normal environmental wear and tear on the skin. This treatment can also help reduce visible fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen production within the body. The wavelengths from the light energy target red and brown spots on skin by heating up the pigment, then lifting the unwanted pigmentation to the surface resulting in it flaking off on its own.

We encourage this treatment for our clients with active lifestyles who do not have the flexible “social down time”. Sunscreen is a must, especially after an IPL procedure since skin may be rendered more sensitive to sun exposure.

2. Laser Genesis

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive laser facial that uses dermal heating to restore the skin’s overall complexion. It does this by breaking melanin within the skin to lighten hyperpigmentation and balance sebum production to brighten the skin’s overall tone. Laser Genesis treatments also help with smoothening texture and reducing fine lines, wrinkles, scars, enlarged pores, active acne, and increases the speed of cell turnover.

This heat-based laser stimulates the body’s natural healing process to boost collagen production and elastin resulting in more supple skin. Laser Genesis leaves our clients with an even skin tone, smooth texture, and a youthful glow everyone desires. This too is a great treatment for our clients that don’t have time for downtime but want amazing results! Book today!

3. Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimal invasive treatment that stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen to repair the surface of the skin. This treatment creates micro-punctures in the skin using small needles that are sterilized. The micro-punctures created in the skin act as a catalyst for the body’s healing process to initiate. This then boosts the production of collagen as well as elastin to help renew the skin.

However painful this may sound, do not worry because our aesthetician will make the experience comfortable by applying a topical numbing cream to the areas being treated. Clients have even fallen asleep during this treatment and come out saying how “smoothing” it felt!

Microneedling helps to increase absorption of active ingredients 90% more than average. It is expected to be a little red after your retreat is completed, this totally normal and will subside within hours. And minimal downtime is expected. It is advised to refrain from using cream-based products and wearing makeup for at least 4 days following your appointment. As soothing as this treatment may be, it is important to protect your skin from any infection or damage.

4. Laser Needling

Laser Needling is an advance corrective treatment that uses both Laser Genesis and Microneedling to help renew the skin’s surface and brighten its complexion. The combined treatments use similar approaches, which is to damage the surface of skin to begin its natural healing process, stimulation of collagen and elastin production. This eventually leads to rejuvenated youthful skin.

This heat-based laser treatment and microneedling procedure require no downtime other than the face appearing red or pink making them a great pair. Laser Needling is better than the traditional microneedling treatment because it is able to treat multiple concerns like Post Inflammatory Erythema, Hyperpigmentation, Skin Pitting, Redness, Melasma, Sun Spots, Age Spots, and many more concerns. Laser Needling is accessible to anyone who wants healthier happier skin. Similar to the Microneedling treatment, anticipate minimal downtime for no more that 4 days.

5. PRP Treatments

PRP, as known as Plasma Rich Platelets, is a treatment that uses the client’s blood to be put back in the skin for various benefits. PRP itself is produced from the blood. It is a concentration of one type of cell, known as platelets, which circulate through the blood and are critical for blood clotting.

Platelets and the liquid plasma portion of the blood contain many factors that are essential for the cell recruitment, multiplication and specialization that are required for healing. After a blood sample is obtained from a patient, the blood is put into a centrifuge, which is a tool that separates the plasma from the other components of the blood. The plasma is then collected and treated before it is delivered into the skin. Once it is ready the procedure then begins.

PRP is given to clients through an injection in the specific areas that are being treated and followed with the microneedling treatment. PRP Treatments are great for clients who are focusing on reserving signs of aging and hair loss. In addition to this concerns it is also great for individuals struggling with texture, hyperpigmentation, and/or scarring issues. Clients must avoid exercise for a short period of time, sun exposure, as well as any exfoliating or acid-based products.

6. Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are advanced forms of exfoliation with high concentrated solutions that help break through the barrier of the skin and correct minor to major concerns. Chemical Peels range from light to aggressive and have different depths from surface, medium to deep. There are light chemical peels, medium chemical peels, and advanced chemical peels.

Light chemical peels are gentle surface based peels that exfoliate the top layer of the epidermis to help clients achieve a smoother texture and better product penetration. Light peels are great for clients wanting to try a peel for the first time or if clients have sensitive skin.

Medium and advanced peels are more penetrative peels. They go deeper into the layers of the skin to help bring unwanted pigmentation to the surface. These peels also vary in percentage levels, the lower percentage the more gentle and exfoliating but as the percentage increases so does the intensity of the peel.

If you suffer from Acne, Pitting Texture, Hyperpigmentation (red and brown spots), and Aging concerns then an Advanced Peel is the perfect treatment for you this season. Chemical Peels require about a 7-10 day recovery time depending on the type of peel that is received but it is always important to check with your aesthetician to see what peel works best for you!
